1.TARAFLAR


The rented vehicle can be used only by the person/s stated in the rental agreement and the delivery form. No damage guarantees will be applicable in case any damages are caused by the vehicle's use by third persons not stated in the agreement. You can purchase our "Additional Driver Service" at our offices if you wish to add other drivers. Maximum 2 additional drivers can be defined for every vehicle. The vehicles are rented based on the age and years of license as defined for the vehicle groups. In the event that these requirements are not met, you can rent the vehicle in question by purchasing the "Young Driver Service Pack." The Young Driver Service Pack includes the "Maximum Guarantee" service. Please contact our reservations center or offices for the prices of the Additional Driver and Young Driver services.




Age and Years of License
Information about the minimum driver's age and minimum years of license for the vehicle groups are given in the table below. The renting driver and the additional driver/s must meet the stated requirements.



RENTAL PERİOD


The minimum rental periods are 24 hours on daily basis and 30 days on monthly basis.


Late return:

  • If the vehicle is returned 1 hour or more later than the booked time, 1/3 of the current rental charge;
  • If the vehicle is returned 2 hours or more later than the booked time, 2/3 of the current rental charge;
  • If the vehicle is returned 3 hours or more later than the booked time, the daily charge applicable for the day will be added to your rental agreement and charged to your credit card.

FUEL


Please return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as when picked-up. Service charges will be added to the cost of the fuel and collected if the vehicle is returned with less fuel than as when picked-up.

VEHICLE DROP-OFF


Drop-off at Office:
A "One Way" charge will be applied if you want to return the vehicle to different office from the one that you picked-up.

Pick-up and Drop-off at a location:
Pick-up and drop-off at a location within up to 5 km from the delivering Garenta office is free of charge. A charge of 50 TL per rental will be charged for locations at a distance of up to 30 km. If the distance is more than 30 km you will be asked to pick-up/drop-off the vehicle at our offices.

INSURANCES AND GUARANTEES


Our vehicle insurances vary depending on the campaigns and prices. Details of the insurance are stated in your agreement and the delivery form. Please contact our reservations center or your renting Garenta office to find out the charges and limits for any excess insurance that you may require. Details of the insurances and guarantees provided as service are as below.


  • Minor Casualty Insurance: Offers the advantage of repair based on the statement of the renter for damages less than the defined amount.
  • Personal Accident Insurance: Covers the driver and the passengers within the limits of the insurance limits.
  • Optional Financial Liability Insurance: Covers the damages within the limits defined for additional third persons in addition to the mandatory financial liability insurance (traffic insurance).
  • Maximum Liability Insurance: A package including Minor Casualty, Personal Accident, and Optional Financial Liability Insurances.

TRAFFIC TICKETS


Payment of any traffic fines issued as a result of non-compliance to traffic rules (including entering the wrong toll lane on bridges or motorways) will be reimbursed to the credit card of the renting person stated in the agreement.

VEHICLE GROUPS MILEAGE LIMITS


The mileage limits based on the daily and monthly rentals of the vehicle groups are given in the table below. An extra fee of 0.50 TL per kilometer will be charged if the indicated limits are exceeded.

TERMS OF PAYMET AND SECURITY


The guarantee amount will be charged in advance at the beginning of the rental period to the personal credit card of the renter together with the vehicle rental fee and the fees of any additional products and services. Any differences calculated in the amount at the end of the rental period will be charged or refunded to the same credit card. The renter is required check-in in person, credit cards of the additional drivers or other persons are accepted. Two separate credit cards are required in the Premium, Premium Plus, Deluxe, Elite, SUV Plus and SUV Deluxe vehicle groups. 

Guarantee Charges:
Apart from the vehicle rental fee, guarantee amounts ranging between 300 TL and 1,750 TL and defined according to the vehicle groups are charged to the personal credit card of the renter at the beginning of the rental period. The charged guarantee amount will be refunded latest in 7 days if the vehicle is returned in the same condition as delivered.

BOOKING CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS


Pay Now Bookings:
In Pay Now (or Pre-Paid) bookings you can change your booking date, add or remove additional products, but you cannot make changes to your vehicle, vehicle group, and office selections. Some changes may cause price differences. 

After completing your booking;


  • The rental fee will not be refunded if you cancel your booking within the 24 hours prior to pick-up or if you do not pick-up your vehicle without cancellation.
  • 25% of the total rental fee will be refunded if you cancel your booking between 1 to 2 days prior to the pick-up.
  • 75% of the total rental fee will be refunded if you cancel your booking between 7 to 14 days prior to the pick-up.
  • 90% of the total rental fee will be refunded if you cancel your booking between 14 to 30 days prior to the pick-up.
  • The full rental fee will be refunded if you cancel your booking at least 30 days prior to the pick-up.

Any changes regarding the vehicle, vehicle group or office requires cancellation of the initial booking, in which case the above stated cancellation terms apply. A new Pay Now booking can then be made after the cancellation. 

Pay Later Bookings: 
In your Pay Later booking you can change your booking date, add or remove additional products, but you cannot make changes to your vehicle, vehicle group, and office selections. Some changes may cause price differences. 

Early Drop-off: 
In the event that the vehicle is returned earlier than the booked date after being picked-up, the price will be recalculated based on the number of days the vehicles was used. If this amount is less than the collected amount, the difference is refunded to the customer. No additional amount will be charged if the calculated amount is more than the collected amount. 

Extension of Rental Period: 
In the event that an extension is requested in the booking period after the starting date of the rental period, the price will be recalculated by the system, and the additional amount will be charged to the customer's credit card at the beginning of the rental period. 

No Show: 
If the booked vehicle is not picked-up at the time indicated in the booking, the availability of a vehicle cannot be guaranteed. In the event of late pick-up, to avoid cancellation of your booking, you can make your payment using our secure payment system via our website or reservations center without having to visit our offices. In case of No Show, your booking will be cancelled after 4 hours.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS


  • To be able to use your insurance coverage, in the event of any damages, you must report the incident by calling the Emergency Hotline and inform the Traffic Police or the Traffic Gendarmerie without moving the vehicle, and obtain a "Police Report with Breath Test Report." In accidents that result in material damage, the drivers involved in the accident may arrange a report by agreement if they mutually consent on the conditions of the incident.
  • In case of a vehicle theft, the police should be contacted to obtain a "Theft report." The theft report should be returned to us together with the vehicle's keys.
  • In case of any mishap, such as an accident, theft, failure, flat tire, or in case you need any emergency assistance, you can call our 'Emergency Hotline' which provides services across Turkey +90 588 11 00.
  • Travelling out of Turkey While our insurances are not valid outside of Turkey, it is forbidden to take our vehicles out of the country. Please check your delivery form and agreement.
